Jeepers Creepers is a teen horror movie that makes you uneasy from the start. Trish (Gina Phillips) and her brother Darry (Justin Long) are driving on a long stretch of highway while a random rustic truck emerges out of no way attempting to run them off the road. Finally, when the old truck leaves them alone they stumble upon it again as it's parked near a run-down church. Barry notices someone dragging what looks like a dead body and throwing it down a pipe. Barry makes Trish turn the car around to investigate which leads to him accidentally falling down the unknown pipe. Inside, Barry is left speechless as the inside of the pipe is full of dead bodies missing eyes hung all over the wall like trophy pieces.

Here, the viewer understands the movie title is based on the hit 1930's song by Johnny Mercer and Harry Warren. The known tune plays throughout the movie and hints at the beast who wreaks havoc. The rest of the movie takes place on the stretch of roadway in an attempt to exterminate this flying creature that eats eyeballs. One of the creepiest moments is when the mysterious monster sucks out the tongue of a victim. This scene is embedded into the viewer's brain and sets the tone for just how messed up and twisted the killer is. The killer is a bat-like creature that flies fast to pick off his next victim while being able to regrow his limbs making it almost impossible to fend off. The end of the film leaves the viewer with a shock and opens up the possibility of a sequel.
