Village Fest kicked off this Saturday, September 18th located in the beautiful downtown of Slippery Rock on South Main St. Tourists and locals lined up all over to taste mouth watering foods and check out neat crafters and vendors. Live music echoed over head and many children activities such as pony rides and face painting resided near the gazebo parking lot. The festival set a warming tone to greet our favorite month within the next few weeks, October. Everyone pictured raved about their favorite part of the September month in Slippery Rock is the Village Fest. The event brings people together which is more important than ever.
